Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 639895 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screws from the assist handle.

    2. Object Number: 639898 Size: SH
  2. Remove the side rail lamp/assist handle from the roof.

    3. Object Number: 639899 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side rail lamp on the assist handle.

    4. Object Number: 639901 Size: SH
  4. Remove the socket from the side rail lamp housing.

    5. Object Number: 639902 Size: SH
  5. Remove the bulb from the socket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 639902 Size: SH
  1. Install the bulb to the side rail lamp socket.

    2. Object Number: 639901 Size: SH
  2. Install the socket to the side rail lamp housing.

    3. Object Number: 639899 Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the side rail lamp.

    4. Object Number: 639898 Size: SH
  4. Install the side rail lamp/assist handle to the roof.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 639895 Size: SH
  5. Install the screws to the assist handle.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
