Subject: | Driver's Power Window Buttons Sticking in the Bezel |
Models: | 2008 Buick Enclave |
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
The power window buttons may stick in the driver's door trim switch bezel. This can be caused if the switch is not properly oriented in the opening of the door trim bezel.
This can be corrected by orienting the switch rearward in the door trim bezel by loosening the 3 switch to door trim attaching screws, moving the switch rearward in the door and re-tightening the screws. This has proven to eliminate the sticking of the switch. It should not be necessary to replace the switch to correct this condition.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
