The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
ABS light on and fuse 23 open.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Inspect the wire harness under the center console behind the shifter for being pinched as well as for wire chaffing. If the wire harness is damaged repair the wire harness per SI procedures and properly route the harness so that it will not be pinched.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
