BACK GLASS MOLDING COMES LOOSE IN UPPER CORNERS

SUBJECT: BACK GLASS REVEAL MOLDING COMES LOOSE IN UPPER CORNERS

MODELS AFFECTED: 1991 PARK AVENUE AND ULTRA MODELS

CONDITION

The back glass reveal molding pulls loose from retainer in the upper corners.

CORRECTION

1. Pull the reveal molding out of the retainer in the affected corner a distance of approximately three (3) inches in each direction from the corner.

2. Put approximately three drops of a cyanoacrylate cement, such as loctite black max, part no. 380 or equivalent, to the reveal molding retainer at a rate of approximately one drop per inch.

3. Reinstall the molding into the retainer and apply pressure until the cement sets.
