BACK WINDOW REVEAL MOLDING SHRINKING OR CUT SHORT-REPLACE

SUBJECT: BACK WINDOW REVEAL MOLDINGS SHRINKING OR CUT SHORT (NEW PART RELEASED FOR SERVICE)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1991 PARK AVENUE/ULTRA

THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO ADD PART NUMBER THAT WAS OMITTED. PLEASE DISCARD BUICK BULLETIN NO. 91-10-25.

CONDITION:

---------- Some 1991 Park Avenue/Ultra models may exhibit a condition where the back window reveal molding appears to have been cut short, or is wrinkled and pulling loose.

CORRECTION:

------------ The new lower molding (Part Number 25602911) released for service is made of a new material to resist shrinking and wrinkling. In addition, the retaining barb on the molding is deeper allowing better retention.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
