BACK GLASS MOLDING COMES LOOSE IN UPPER CORNERS

SUBJECT: BACK GLASS REVEAL MOULDING COMES LOOSE IN UPPER CORNERS (GLUE DOWN WITH CEMENT)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991 'C' MODELS

CONDITION:

---------- The back glass reveal moulding pulls loose from retainer in the upper corners.

CORRECTION:

1. Pull the reveal moulding out of the retainer in the affected corner a distance of approximately three (3) inches in each direction from the corner.

2. Put approximately three drops of a cyanoacrylate cement, such as loctite black max, part no. #380 or equivalent, to the reveal moulding retrainer at a rate of approximately one drop per inch.

3. Reinstall the moulding into the retainer and apply pressure until the cement sets.
