POOR TAIL LAMP APPEARANCE NEW FILLER STRIP RELEASED

SUBJECT: TAIL LAMP APPEARANCE (NEW FILLER STRIP RELEASED FOR SERVICE)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991 "C" MODELS (START OF PRODUCTION THRU M1625334)

CONDITION:

---------- Owners of some early Park Avenue/Park Avenue Ultras may comment that the gap between the tail lamp housing and the quarter panel may be uneven from side to side. To correct this condition, a filler strip kit has been released for service. The part number for the kit is #25600981.

CORRECTION:

------------ 1. Remove the tail lamp assembly from the vehicle as per the service manual. 2. Clean the surface where the strip is to be installed as per the illustration. 3. Apply the filler strip to the body 10mm from the outboard edge of the quarter panel. 4. Reinstall the tail lamp assembly.
