The following Information Centre Connector Pinout Test, (Page 283), has been revised for late model 1991 Buick Park Avenue/ Park Avenue Ultra vehicles. The pages affected because of this revision are: 27, 28, 41, 63, 66, 82, 84, 91, 94, 110, 112, 137, 138, 174, 175, 183, 184, 278, 279, 281, 283, 295 and 296.
Please update your respective Electrical Systems Manual accordingly.
- Ignition switch: RUN (except for resistance measurements)
- Engine: off
- Make all resistance measurements with negative battery cable disconnected.
- Measure to ground unless another terminal is given.
- If correct voltage or resistance is not found at a terminal, do test given or go to section referred.
- If correct voltage or reslstance is found at a terminal, and function that uses that terminal does not operate, replace information Center, see (2), after checking suspect bulb(s) and connector terminal(s).
