SUBJECT: REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (AUO) FOB PERFORMANCE (INSTALL NEW TRANSMITTER)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991 "C" BUICK AND OLDSMOBILE MODELS

CONDITION:

---------- Owners of Buick and Oldsmobile "C" vehicles (built prior to 9/17/90) may comment about three possible conditions relating to the performance of the Key FOB (transmitter) for the Remote Keyless Entry System.

1. The case prematurely breaks at the attachment ring. 2. The transmitter may operate intermittently. 3. The useful range of operation is too short.

CORRECTION:
