Has the garage door opener (GDO) been programmed to the customers transmitter?

Go to Step 3

Program the GDO to the customer's transmitter. Refer to Garage Door Opener Programming - Universal .

Does the GDO operate the customer's receiver?

Go to Step 4

1. Ask the customer to retest the operation of the GDO transmitter.
2. If the GDO transmitter is still inoperative, call 1-800-355-3515 for further assistance.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 5

1. Ensure that any of the components removed during diagnosis are installed in place and that all of the connectors are connected.
2. Repeat the system check. Refer to Garage Door Opener System Check .

Is the system check complete?
