Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 255988 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screw from the front wheelhouse area.
  2. Remove the screws (2) at the lower edge of the rocker panel molding.
  3. Pull upward on the top edge of the rocker panel molding (1).

    4. Separate the rocker panel from the door sill.

  4. Pull outward on the rearward portion of the molding (1) in order to release the push-in retainers.
  5. Pull outward on the molding in order to release the push-in retainers.
  6. Remove the molding (1) from the body.
  7. Remove the damaged push-in retainers from the following components:
    8. • The body
    • The rocker panel molding

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 255988 Size: SH
  1. Install the new push-in retainers, as needed.
  2. Position the molding (1) to the vehicle.
  3. Press the top edge of the molding onto the door sill.
  4. Press the molding in order to engage the push-in retainers.
  5. Install the screws (2) along the lower edge of the molding (1).
  6. Install the screw to the front wheelhouse area.
