Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the seat side air bag. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Side Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement in SIR.
  3. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement in Seats.

    4. Object Number: 578835 Size: SH
  4. Remove the seat belt retractor access door cover.
  5. Disconnect the seat belt height adjuster electrical connector.
  6. Move the seat belt clear of the seat belt height adjuster release tab slot.

    7. Object Number: 594018 Size: SH
  7. Press the release tab, on both sides of the seat back frame, and pull up to remove the seat belt height adjuster.
  8. Remove the front seat belt height adjuster.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 594018 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat belt height adjuster into the seat back frame and engage the lock tab into the slot to lock in position.
  2. Position the seat belt onto the guide roller.
  3. Connect the seat belt height adjuster electrical connector.

    4. Object Number: 578835 Size: SH
  4. Install the retractor access door cover.
  5. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
  6. Install the seat side air bag. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Side Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement in SIR.
  7. Install the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement .
