Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 259161  Size: SH
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the inner window belt molding. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  4. Remove the outer window belt molding. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Remove the front window channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement .
  6. Remove the window (1). Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  7. Remove the window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .

  8. Object Number: 259136  Size: SH
  9. Remove the upper fastener (2) from the door header.
  10. Remove the access hole plug (3).
  11. Remove the lower inboard fastener (2).

  12. Object Number: 542551  Size: SH
  13. Grasp the window division channel (1).
  14. Pull the window forward in order to remove.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 542551  Size: SH
  1. Slide the window (1) back into the door frame.
  2. Loosely install the lower fastener.
  3. Rotate the window rearward in order to engage the clips (2).

  4. Object Number: 259136  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the upper fastener in the header.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  7. Install the access hole plug (3).
  8. Install the window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  9. Install the window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  10. Install the window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement .
  11. Install the window inner belt molding. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  12. Install the window outer belt molding. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  13. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  14. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
