When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
SERVICE VME
Door glass chatters when closing either front door and the glass is in the lowest position. This noise cannot be heard if the glass is partially up. The noise is created by the door glass making contact with the run channel retainer insert located at the bottom of the run channel. The retainer is a plastic clip that is shaped like a horseshoe. The retainer protrudes into the run channel. When the glass is in its lowest position and the door is closed, the lateral movement of the glass will make contact with the clip and make a chatter noise. The clip can be removed and discarded. Apply adhesive at the lower section of the insert in the area in which the clip was removed.
