The lock cylinder is damaged.
  1. Inspect the lock cylinder. Refer to Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
  2. Replace the lock cylinder.Refer to Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Disassemble - Off Vehicle or Steering Column Lock Cylinder Set - Assemble - Off Vehicle .

The ignition key is worn or damaged.

Replace the ignition key.
