  1. Check the RH low beam headlamp bulb for a damaged or open filament.
  2. Check the RH headlamp connector to verify that the seal is not missing or damaged.

Is the headlamp bulb and the connector OK?

  1. Disconnect the headlamp dimmer switch.
  2. Using a test light, backprobe between the right headlamp harness connector C142 terminal H and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 1740 between the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness connector C3 terminal E2 and the right headlamp harness connector C142 terminal H.

Has the repair been made?

Go to Headlight System Check

Using a test light, backprobe between the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness connector C3 terminal A10 and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

--

Go to Step 8

Using a test light, backprobe between the right headlamp harness connector C142 terminal H and terminal J.

Does the test light illuminate?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 1201 between the right headlamp wiring harness connector C142 terminal J and the underhood accessory wiring junction block harness connector C3 terminal A10.

Has the repair been made?

Go to Headlight System Check

Replace the right headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
