Removal Procedure

Two antenna extension cables are used in the antenna system. The following are procedures to service the front and the rear cables.

  1. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  2. Remove the right lower instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

  3. Object Number: 325442  Size: MH
  4. Remove the antenna extension cable rosebud retainers (3) from the instrument panel.
  5. Remove the right side carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Pull back the carpet in order to gain access to the antenna extension cable (1).
  7. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  8. Remove the right side rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  9. Remove the front antenna extension cable (1) from the antenna.

  11. Remove the rear antenna extension cable (1) from the antenna.

  12. Object Number: 325445  Size: MH
  13. Remove the antenna extension cable (3) from the conduit (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 325447  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear antenna extension cable (1) to the antenna.

  2. Object Number: 325442  Size: MH
  3. Install the front antenna extension cable (1) to the antenna.

  4. Object Number: 325445  Size: MH
  5. Install the antenna extension cable (3) to the conduit (1).
  6. Install the right side rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  7. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  8. Install the right side carpet.
  9. Install the right side carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.

  10. Object Number: 325442  Size: MH
  11. Install the antenna extension cable rosebud retainers (3) from the instrument panel.
  12. Install the right lower instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  13. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
