Removal Procedure

The front inside door handle bezel has an electrical connector for the power door lock system.

  1. Remove the inside door handle bezel close out plate using a small flat-bladed tool.
  2. Remove the inside door handle bezel screw.

  3. Object Number: 312018  Size: SH
  4. Remove the inside door handle bezel (Front Door).

  5. Object Number: 312028  Size: SH
  6. Remove the inside door handle bezel (Rear Door).

  7. Object Number: 312023  Size: SH
  8. Remove the inside door handle bezel electrical connector (Front Door).
  9. Remove the inside door handle bezel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 312023  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the inside door handle bezel. (Front Door)

  2. Object Number: 312018  Size: SH
  3. Install the inside door handle bezel to the door. (Front Door)

  4. Object Number: 312028  Size: SH
  5. Install the inside door handle bezel to the door. (Rear Door)
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the inside door handle bezel screw.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the inside door handle bezel screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the inside door handle bezel close out plate, pressing in until fully seated.
