1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the front door radio speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .



3. Carefully peel the water deflector away from the door removing any waterproof tape.
4. Remove the second water deflector from around the door handle.

A clear waterproof sound deadener deflector seals the door inner panel. Pressure-sensitive adhesive located on the outboard surface of the deflector secures the deflector to the door inner panel. The deflector may be peeled back as needed in order to service the door components.

1. Install the water deflector at the door handle.
2. Align the water deflector to the door inner panel to the door.
3. Press the sealer around the periphery of the deflector in order to ensure proper seating.
4. Install waterproof tape to any damaged areas of the deflector.
5. Install the front door radio speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
6. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
