Removal Procedure

Sunshades can be equipped with an illuminated vanity mirror. The illuminated vanity mirror is not serviced as a separate unit.

  1. Fold the sunshade so that the bottom edge is pointing straight down.
  2. Unsnap the sunshade from the retainer.
  3. Position the sunshade just behind the sunshade retainer, between the retainer and the windshield.

  5. Insert a flat-bladed tool into the slot on the sunshade retainer shaft.

  6. Object Number: 324947  Size: SH
  7. Hold the flat-bladed tool stationary. While gently pulling downward slowly rotate the sunshade (3) approximately 100 mm (4 inches) toward the rear of the vehicle .
  8. Push upward on the free end of the sunshade assembly and continue to rotate towards the side glass for the remainder of the travel.
  9. Pull down on the sunshade to release it from the sunshade bezel on the headliner.

  11. Disconnect the electrical connector (3), if equipped.
  12. Remove the sunshade from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the sunshade in the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 324946  Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector (3), if equipped.

  4. Object Number: 324947  Size: SH
  5. Align the triangular portions of the sunshade and bezel (1), push upwards and rotate toward the windshield.
  6. Lock the sunshade into the retainer bracket.
