Rattle Noise From Second Row Folding Foot Rest

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Vehicle may have a rattle noise resulting from the second row folding footrest contacting the seat frame. Concern is most noticeable if the seat is in the full forward position and the footrest is fully extended downward.

Loosen the footrest attaching fasteners. Pull the footrest rearward. Tighten the fasteners while maintaining rearward pressure.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
