Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2005 🢒 Rendezvous - FWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.6L (LY7) 🢒 Engine Oil Level Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1401654 Size: SH
  1. Drain the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from engine oil level switch.

    3. Object Number: 1401656 Size: SH
  3. Remove the engine oil level switch from the oil pan.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1401656 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine oil level switch to the oil pan.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the engine oil level switch to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Connect the electrical connector to engine oil level switch.
  3. Fill the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
  4. Inspect for oil leaks .
