If a shudder or vibration is detected during acceleration, check for the following conditions:

  1. An excessive joint angle.
  2. 1.1. An excessive toe. Refer to Front Toe Adjustment in Wheel Alignment.
    1.2. Incorrect trim height. Refer to Trim Height .
  3. Worn or damaged inboard or outboard joints.
  4. A sticking spider assembly (Tri-Pot).
  5. An undiagnosed vibration. Refer to Vibration Diagnosis in Vibration Diagnosis and Correction.
