Tools Required

1. Remove the belt from the pulley.
2. Remove the pump from the engine for tool clearance. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .

You are not required to remove the pressure lines or the return lines from the pump.




3. Use the J 25034-C in order to remove the pulley.

Important: 

•	The face of the pulley hub must be flush with the pump drive shaft.

•	Do not use the arbor press in order to install the pulley.

1. Install the power steering pump pulley using the J 25033-C .
2. Install the pump to the engine. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
3. Install the belt on the pulley.
4. If the pump was removed from the engine, bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
