1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Place the gear selector lever in REVERSE.

The backup lamps turn on.

1. Place the transaxle gear selector in neutral (manual).
2. Place the transaxle gear selector in park (automatic).
3. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

The backup lamps turn off.
