Important: Treat the transmitter carefully if you are within range of the vehicle. Avoid unintentionally operating the door locks, or releasing the rear compartment lid.

The transmitter has 3 buttons. The transmitter provides touch control of the following functions:

Door Lock: If you press the lock button (5) once, all of the doors lock. If you press the lock button twice within 5 seconds, the horn chirps. The chirp confirms that all of the doors are locked.

Door Unlock: If you press the unlock button (2) once, the driver's door will unlock and the interior lamps will light. If you press the unlock button twice within 5 seconds, all of the remaining doors will unlock.

Rear Compartment Lid Release: If you press the rear compartment lid release button (3), the rear compartment lid releases and the interior lamps lights. The lid is released only if the remote trunk release lockout is not engaged and the transaxle gear selector is in Park or Neutral.
