The cranklow functions reads as active when the ignition switch is in the START position. This function will read as inactive.

The VTD option function tells if the instrument cluster has ever detected the presence of a PASSLOCK™ lock cylinder. Once this occurs, the instrument cluster will set this function to YES.

The VTD data function is an interpreted representation of the VTD password. This data function may change 7-10 counts, depending on the operating conditions.
