Did you perform the Power Window System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Power Windows System Check

1. Disconnect the right rear window switch connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Connect a test lamp between connector terminal A and terminal E.
4. Operate the window switch to the UP and the DOWN positions.

Does the test lamp light in both of the positions?

Go to Step 5

1. Connect a fused jumper between the connector terminal A and terminal D.
2. Connect a fused jumper between the connector terminal E and terminal H.
3. Operate right rear window switch on the master switch to the UP and to the DOWN positions.

Does the rear window operate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Replace the right rear window switch. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Windows System Check

--

Test for an open in CKT 170 and CKT 171.

Did you find an open in either of the circuits?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Test for an open in CKT 670 and CKT 671.

Did you find an open in either of the circuits?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 9

Repair the faulty circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the master switch assembly. Refer to the following procedures:
