Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement Front

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 382870 Size: LH
  1. For the sedan model, remove the center pillar trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the side upper garnish molding from the windshield. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the door opening weatherstrip (1) by grasping the weatherstrip carrier and pulling off of the body flange.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 382870 Size: LH
  1. Install the door opening weatherstrip (1):
    2. 1.1. Align the appropriate color dot with the top rear of the door opening
    1.2. Press until fully seated
  2. Pull the lower lip on the side roof rail weatherstrip so that the lip sits on the top of the door opening weatherstrip.
  3. Install the side upper garnish molding to the windshield. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Seats.
  5. For the sedan model, install the center pillar trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .

Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement Rear

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 382854 Size: LH
  1. For the sedan model, remove the center pillar trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the side upper garnish molding from the windshield. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the door opening weatherstrip (1) by grasping the weatherstrip carrier and pulling off of the body flange.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the door opening weatherstrip (1):
    2. 1.1. Align the appropriate color dot with the top rear of the door opening
    1.2. Press until fully seated
  2. Pull the lower lip on the side roof rail weatherstrip so that the lip sits on the top of the door opening weatherstrip.
  3. Install the side upper garnish molding to the windshield. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper in Interior Trim.
  4. Install the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Seats.
  5. For the sedan model, install the center pillar trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
