Adjustment Procedure
- Slide the sunroof sunshade (5) to the open position.
- Close the sunroof window (4).
- Separately loosen 6 adjusting screws (3 screws on each side, and individually adjust the four corners of the glass panel.
- Adjust the front of the sunroof window to 1.0 mm (1/32 in) below the top surface of the roof panel. Adjust the rear of the sunroof window to 1.0 mm (1/32 in) above the top surface.
- Adjust the screws on the sunroof window
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the sunroof window screws to fully drive and seat, but not strip.
