Tools Required

J 29843-9 Door Lock Striker and Seat Belt Torx Wrench.

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .




2. Remove the bolts (1) from the center buckle or the buckle/latch belt.

Refer to Rear Seat Center Buckle Belt Replacement in Seat Belts.

3. Lift the rear seatback upward in order to disengage the upper retaining hooks.
4. Remove the rear seatback.

1. Install the rear seatback.
2. Position the seatback in order to engage the upper retaining hooks. You will hear an audible snap, indicating a proper engagement.



3. Install the rear seat center buckle or the buckle/latch belt bolts (1).

4. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
