Removal Procedure
- Remove the driver or the passenger front seat. Refer to
Seat Replacement
in Seats.
- Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to in
Rear Seat Cushion Replacement
in Seats.
- On the sedan, remove the lower and the upper trim finish panel from the center pillar. Refer to
Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement
and to
Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the floor carpet retainer. Refer to
Carpet Retainer Replacement
.
- Remove the seat buckle side belt from the driver and the passenger seats. Refer the following procedures in Seat Belts:
- Perform the following procedure in order to remove the fuel filler door and the lid release lever (2) on the rear compartment:
6.1. | Remove the screws (5). |
6.2. | Lift the assembly (4). |
6.3. | Disconnect the cables (1,6). |
- Remove the center console assembly.
- Remove the floor carpet.
Installation Procedure
Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
- Install the floor carpet.
- Install the center console assembly.
- Perform the following procedure in order to install the fuel filler door and the lid release lever (2) on the rear compartment:
3.1. | Connect the cables (6,1). |
3.2. | Install the screws (5). |
- Install the floor carpet retainer. Refer to
Carpet Retainer Replacement
.
- Install the seat buckle side belt to the driver and the passenger seats. Refer to the following procedures in Seat Belts:
- On the sedan, install the lower and the upper trim finish panel to the center pillar. Refer to
Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement
and to
Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to
Rear Seat Cushion Replacement
in Seats.
- Install the driver or the passenger front seat. Refer to
Seat Replacement
in Seats.
