Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 522350 Size: SH
  1. Pry at the bottom of the rear courtesy/reading lamp lens with a flat-bladed screwdriver in order to remove the lens (4).
  2. Remove the courtesy/reading lamp lens.
  3. Pry at the rear side of the courtesy/reading lamp socket with a flat-bladed screwdriver.
  4. Disconnect the courtesy/reading lamp wiring harness from the socket
  5. Remove the courtesy/reading lamp socket.
  6. Remove the screws (1) from the reading/courtesy lamp assembly.
  7. Remove the rear reading/courtesy lamp assembly.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear courtesy/reading lamp.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the screws that retain the rear courtesy/reading lamp.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws (1) to 1 N·m (4 lb in).

  3. Install the wiring harness to the courtesy reading lamp socket.
  4. Install the courtesy/reading lamp socket.
  5. Install the courtesy/reading lamp bulb.
  6. Install the lens (4) to the courtesy/reading lamp assembly.
