CONDITION: INTERMITTENT HESITATION MISS OR SURGE AT IDLE OR WHILE DRIVING. MISFIRES MAY ALSO ACCUMULATE ON RANDOM CYLINDERS.
CAUSE: EMI BETWEEN IGNITION MODULE AND THE 5 WIRE (6 WAY CONNECTOR) IGNITION MODULE HARNESS. SOME VEHICLES WERE FOUND TO HAVE THE IGNITION MODULE HARNESS LAYING ON TOP OF THE CYLINDER 1 AND 4 COIL PACK.
CORRECTION: REROUTE HARNESS AWAY FROM IGNITION MODULE AND SECONDARY WIRES AS WELL.
