POOR COLD DRIVEABILITY/SAG/HES PROM INFORMATION CORRECTION

COLD START DRIVEABILITY, TIP-IN SAG, HESITATION OR SURGE

MODELS AFFECTED: SOME 1986 SOMERSETS AND SKYLARKS EQUIPPED --------------- WITH 3.0L MFI ENGINES (VIN CODE L)

Some 1986 Somersets and Skylarks equipped with a 3.0L MFI Engine (VIN Code L), may experience a condition described as poor cold driveability, tip-in sag, hesitation or surge.

If any of these conditions are encountered, and cannot be repaired using currently published diagnostic and service information, it may be necessary to install a new service PROM, Part No. 16059958.
