Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the differential drive pinion gear. Refer to Drive Pinion Disassemble .

  3. Object Number: 218663  Size: SH

    Important: The use of needle-nose pliers may be used to remove the spacer.

  4. Remove the differential drive pinion gear bearing spacer (1) from the differential drive pinion gear (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 218663  Size: SH
  1. Install the NEW bearing spacer (1) onto the differential drive pinion gear (2).
  2. Install the differential drive pinion gear. Refer to Drive Pinion Assemble .
  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Road test the vehicle and check for leaks.
