Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Clean any dirt and/or foreign material from the hose and brake pipe fittings.
  3. Remove the brake pipe from the Electronic Brake Traction Control Module (EBTCM).

    4. Object Number: 219454 Size: SH
  4. Remove the brake pipe retainer (2) from the brake pipe (1) at the fenderwell mounting bracket.
  5. Remove the brake pipe (1) from the front brake hose (3).
  6. Remove the brake pipe from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the brake pipe to the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 219454 Size: SH
  2. Install the brake pipe (1) to the front brake hose (3).
  3. Install the brake pipe retainer (2) to the brake pipe (1) at the fenderwell mounting bracket.
  4. Install the brake pipe to the Electronic Brake Traction Control Module (EBTCM).
  5. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
