B+ is applied to the LH and RH low beam headlamps through fuses #22 and #31. B+ is applied to the input side of the fuses through the low beam relay K131. When the BCM grounds terminal C9 of connector C2, the low beam relay K131 coil is energized and the relay contacts close. The LH and RH low beam headlamps are permanently grounded to G103. When B+ is applied to terminal C of the LH and RH low beam headlamp, both of the headlamps illuminate.
When the ignition switch is in the ON position and the wipers have been turned on for approximately 20 seconds, the BCM will turn on the low beam headlamps and the park lamps. The low beam headlamps and the park lamps will turn off approximately 20 seconds after the wipers have been turned off. If the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position, the low beam headlamps and the park lamps will immediately be turned off.
