Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the console storage bin. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 245704  Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear vent housing screws from the upper console.

  4. Object Number: 245707  Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear vent housing from the upper and lower console.

  6. Object Number: 245709  Size: SH
  7. Remove the harness connectors from the lighter and the heated seat switches.

  8. Object Number: 245727  Size: SH
  9. Remove the rear heated seat switch panel from the rear vent housing.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 245727  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear heated seat switch panel to the rear vent housing.

  2. Object Number: 245709  Size: SH
  3. Install the harness connectors to the lighter and the heated seat switches.

  4. Object Number: 245707  Size: SH
  5. Install the rear vent housing to the upper and lower console.

  6. Object Number: 245704  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the rear vent housing screws to rear vent housing.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the rear vent housing screws until fully seated but not stripped.

  9. Install the console storage bin. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement .
