Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 245756 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  2. Remove the door strut from the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Strut Replacement .
  3. Using a punch and a hammer, drive out the door hinge roll pins.

    4. Object Number: 245759 Size: SH

    Important: Do NOT break the guide stops when you remove the compartment door. The guide stop on the left side (where the strut mounts) is a tight fit when removing.

  4. Remove the IP compartment door from the IP compartment box.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the IP compartment door to the IP compartment box.

    2. Object Number: 245756 Size: SH
  2. Using a punch and a hammer, drive in the roll to the door hinge.
  3. Install the strut to the IP compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Strut Replacement .
  4. Install the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
