Removal Procedure
- Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
- Remove the seat adjustment buttons (1,2).
- Remove the screw from the outer finish panel of the front seat cushion.
- Remove the screws from the seat adjuster control switch.
- Remove the outer finish panel from the front seat cushion.
Important: Use care when removing the buttons from the seat adjuster control switch in order to prevent damage to the switch. Use a thin-bladed screwdriver in order to pry the buttons off.
The screw is located in the front of seat frame.
Installation Procedure
- Install the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
- Install the screws to the seat adjuster control switch.
- Install the screw to the outer finish panel of the front seat cushion.
- Install the seat adjustment buttons (1,2) by snapping on.
- Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

Tighten the screws until fully seated and not stripped.

Tighten the screw until fully seated and not stripped.
Do NOT damage the control switch.
