Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement Second design seatback

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the front seatback. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
  3. Remove the headrest restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  4. Remove the release knob and bezel if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Back Release Knob and Bezel Replacement .
  5. Remove the lumbar support actuator knob. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement .
  6. Remove the front seatback panel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  7. Remove the inflatable restraint front seat module if equipped. Refer to Inflatable Inflatable Restraint Seat Module Replacement - Driver or Inflatable Restraint Seat Module Replacement - Passenger in Restraints.
  8. Remove the front seatback inner liner. Refer to Seat Back Liner Replacement - Front Inner .
  9. Remove the release tab retainers from the front seatback headrest restraint using a flat-bladed tool. Do NOT damage the cover.

    10. Object Number: 246279 Size: SH
  10. Remove the front seatback retaining rings.

    11. Object Number: 246284 Size: SH
  11. Remove the front seatback cushion cover.
  12. Remove the heated seat pad wiring through the seat cushion pad.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the heated seat pad wiring through the seat cushion pad.

    2. Object Number: 246284 Size: SH
  2. Install the front seatback cushion cover.

    3. Object Number: 246279 Size: SH
  3. Install the front seatback retaining rings.
  4. Install new release tab retainers to the front seatback headrest restraint.
  5. Install the front seatback inner liner. Refer to Seat Back Liner Replacement - Front Inner .
  6. Install the inflatable restraint front seat module if equipped. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Seat Module Replacement - Driver or Inflatable Restraint Seat Module Replacement - Passenger in Restraints.
  7. Install the front seatback panel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  8. Install the lumbar support actuator knob.

    9. Grasp the knob and push inward in order to secure.

  9. Install the release knob and bezel if equipped. Refer to Front Seat Back Release Knob and Bezel Replacement .
  10. Install the front seatback. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
  11. Install a headrest restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  12. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
