Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove seat cushion heater element:

    4. Object Number: 246811 Size: SH

            Important: The rear seat cushion cover contains two heating elements: a right and left. Both heater elements are serviced the same way.

    3.1. Cut along the seams on the inside of the seat cover. Do NOT cut through the front side of the seat cover.
    3.2. Cut the heater element electrical wiring.
    3.3. Remove the heater element and the wiring from the seat cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 246814 Size: SH
  1. Install the heating element for the rear seat cushion to the seat cover.
  2. Install the electrical wiring for the seat cushion heater element to the original position of the old wiring harness.
  3. Fold over the ends of the new heater element and tape the element to the seat cushion cover.
  4. Install the rear seat cushion cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover Replacement .
  5. Install the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
