Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 210357 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
  2. Remove the screw caps from upper steering column.
  3. Remove the screws from upper steering column.
  4. Remove the upper steering column cover.

    5. Object Number: 210364 Size: SH
  5. Remove the steering wheel tilt lever. Refer to Tilt Lever Replacement - On Vehicle
  6. Remove the rubber protective cover from lock cylinder.
  7. Remove the screws from lower steering column cover.
  8. Remove the lower steering column cover.

    9. Object Number: 210495 Size: SH
  9. Depress the tabs to release windshield washer switch from the steering column.

    10. Object Number: 210499 Size: SH
  10. Disconnect the windshield washer switch electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 210499 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to turn signal switch.

    2. Object Number: 210495 Size: SH
  2. Install the turn signal switch to steering column making sure tabs engage.

    3. Object Number: 210364 Size: SH
  3. Install the lower steering column cover.
  4. Install the screws to lower steering column cover.
  5. Install the rubber protective cover to ignition lock cylinder.

    6. Object Number: 210357 Size: SH
  6. Install the steering wheel tilt lever. Refer to Tilt Lever Replacement - On Vehicle
  7. Install the upper steering column cover.
  8. Install the screws to upper steering column.
  9. Install the screw caps to upper steering column.
  10. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
