- Remove the CLAMP W PBSL Fuse.
- Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch.
- Use the DMM to measure the voltage between the input of the CLAMP
W PBSL Fuse and a known good ground.
Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

- Locate a short to ground in the key-in positive voltage circuit.
- Repair the short to ground in the key-in positive voltage circuit.

- Disconnect the gauge cluster connector.
- Open the LH front side door.
- Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 16 of the
gauge cluster connector and a known good ground.
Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

- Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit A19.
- Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit A19.
- If this circuit is OK, replace the ignition switch. Refer to

- Locate an open or a high resistance in the key-in positive voltage
circuit.
- Repair the open or the high resistance in the key-in positive
voltage circuit.
- If these circuits are OK, replace the gauge cluster. Refer to
