Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear axle cradle.
Refer to
Crossmember Replacement
.
- Remove the protective boot from the top of the support bushing.
- Use the J 24319-B
in order to remove the frame bushing
from the rear axle support. It may be necessary to place a shim in the center
of the bushing to keep the J 24319-B
in the proper position.
- Press out the bushing.
- Remove the rear axle support bushing from the rear axle support.
Installation Procedure
- Install the bushing to
the cradle using the J 42090
.
- Install the protective boot to the top of the support bushing.
- Install the rear axle cradle. Refer to
Crossmember Replacement
.
- Adjust the rear toe to specifications. Refer to
Rear Toe Adjustment
in Wheel Alignment.
