Tools Required

1. Remove the rear axle cradle. Refer to Crossmember Replacement .
2. Remove the protective boot from the top of the support bushing.



3. Use the J 24319-B in order to remove the frame bushing from the rear axle support. It may be necessary to place a shim in the center of the bushing to keep the J 24319-B in the proper position.
4. Press out the bushing.
5. Remove the rear axle support bushing from the rear axle support.

1. Install the bushing to the cradle using the J 42090 .
2. Install the protective boot to the top of the support bushing.
3. Install the rear axle cradle. Refer to Crossmember Replacement .
4. Adjust the rear toe to specifications. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment in Wheel Alignment.
