Removal Procedure
- Remove the front seat. Refer to
Seat Replacement
.
- Remove the front seat cushion cover. Refer to
Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement
.
- Remove the front seat cushion pad and the cover can be removed
as an assembly when replacing front seat cushion frame.
- Remove the front seat
back pivot pin bolt. The front seat back pivot pin bolts are located on the
inner and outer sides of the seat cushion frame.
- Remove the seat adjuster bolts.
- Remove the front seat
cushion frame.
Installation Procedure
- Install the front seat
cushion frame.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the seat
adjuster bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the seat adjuster bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).
- Install the front seat back pivot pin bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the front seat back pivot pin bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
- Install the front seat cushion cover. Refer to
Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement

- Install the front seat. Refer to
Seat Replacement
.
