Tools Required

    • J 23327 Clutch Spring Compressor
    • J 36850 Assembly Lubricant

    Object Number: 174893 Size: SH
  1. Install the reverse clutch piston inner seal (608) and the outer seal (609). Lubricate the seals with DEXRON®III automatic transmission fluid.
  2. Install the reverse clutch piston (610).
  3. Install the reverse clutch piston return springs (611). Retain with J 36850 or equivalent.
  4. Install the spring seat (612).

  5. Install J 23327 .
  6. Compress the reverse clutch piston return springs (611).
  7. Install the reverse clutch piston return spring seat retainer ring (613).
  8. Remove the tools.
