Notice: If papers, pins, or other flammable items are put in the ashtray, hot cigarettes or other smoking materials could ignite them and possibly damage the vehicle. Never put flammable items in the ashtray.

With the full floor console, the ashtray is located below the climate control system. To open, push down and then release the cover. To clean the ashtray, push the lip of the ashtray to remove it. Push the opposite side of the ashtray's lip to install.

For vehicles without the floor console, pull the tray located below the climate controls to reveal the ashtray. The ashtray can be removed by pulling on the ledge located at the top of the ashtray.

The ashtrays are located on the door armrests. To use an ashtray, lift the lid.

Notice: Holding a cigarette lighter in while it is heating does not let the lighter back away from the heating element when it is hot. Damage from overheating can occur to the lighter or heating element, or a fuse could be blown. Do not hold a cigarette lighter in while it is heating.

The cigarette lighter is located near the front ashtray.

Press the lighter all the way in and release it. It will pop back out by itself once the element has heated for use.
