The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The Tech 2 will not communicate with the Amplifier on some 2006 DTS
Recommendation/Instructions:
There are two Amplifiers available for this vehicle. The Bose Amplifier RPO UQA has GMLAN capabilities. The Delphi Amplifier RPO UQ3 does not. Identify which system the vehicle is equipped with before beginning diagnostics.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
